  • Does anyone else think of more then one thing at a time? It has always been a curse of mine. I lack focus. I’ll be folding laundry and going over the grocery list and singing jiggle bells, at once and all of a sudden I’ll belt out… lettuce sour cream…

Constantly I’ll be in the middle of something and I get sidetracked and start doing something else… for the most part I get things done, but at the end of the day there is a lot of tying up loose ends.

On Sunday I was brushing my teeth and thinking about something, quit fondly I might add, listening to the steady electric buzz of my toothbrush and staring at myself in the mirror. I snapped  out of it just in time to stop the tooth paste from foaming all over my Sunday best.

See there I go again getting sidetracked.  My point is that I have been thinking so many different things lately I don’t know where to start.

A couple of you came quit close. Macgilicuddy… with his caffeine guess, Papi went with cheese… food is never far from my mind. Steven said the big O!  Well aren’t we all always thinking about that one… I mean really, You can deny it but… you know you do.

At the time that I typed the question; I was thinking; I would like to see Strange Brew again, I wonder what Gabe is doing? I haven’t seen it since high school. Hockey in an insane asylum. Ha. Man I need to finish my Christmas projects. My camera is going to be here in two days… I wonder if I should take naked pictures for Ben for Christmas. Am I hungry? Nope not yet.

That’s it, the workings of my sick and twisted mind at the time of that entry… They didn’t have Strange Brew at the video store, I wonder if I can get it on line. I’ll probably talk to Gabe in a couple of days… We always talk at Christmas. The new camera hasn’t shown up yet so naked pictures aren’t an option, Like I would take them… I hate the camera with my clothes on…  Am I hungry? Nope not yet.

That’s it, thanks for all of the guesses but my attempt at telepathy failed miserably… I’ll have to try it again after Christmas when all of you aren’t using you brains for so many other things.  ANG

  • you know part of being able to stay focused is being able to live in the moment  right here right now  and not look forwards or back . yesterday is history tomorrow is a mystery  all i got is today.

  • I am always thinking a million things at a time. My kids think I’m nuts when I start going over the grocery list aloud while I’m doing somethng else (maybe I am)! The other day I was doing something and said, “Noodles and Lightbulbs.” A couple of my kids were in the room with me and were like, “What?? Mom, are you okay?” I told them I was, and I was just remembering things I had to get at the store. HA!

  • I hope you are enjoying your Christmas season. I know I am.  *LOL*

  • This is the story of my life.

Also: The octopus scene from Goonies was great, because it is pure inside joke quality now. A group of us were watching Goonies at a midnight theater showing, and one person fell asleep during it. Afterwards we were talking about it in the parking lot, and the person that fell asleep brought up the octopus. The rest of us had no idea what she was taking about at all; to us, she had just seen on octopus while she was asleep and somehow associated it with the movie.

Then, I was randomly looking up something about Goonies online, and found out that there actually WAS an octopus that was taken out. Instant shock. She clearly had prophetic octopus dreams.

  • my brother’s a genius eh. he fixed a toaster.

  • interesting post, Ang.

and yes, I have thought of many different things one right after the other

  • It’s a side effect of our world being multi-task oriented, lol. Our brains have begun to multi-task and we just can not always keep up.. hehe. I have to write my lists down when I start thinking about them or I will think of something else five mintues later and poof…. I can not remember what I needed from the store!

  • I’m sorry, what was this post about? I was busy thinking of more important things.

  • k….i have rambling thoughts too :)

  • :: Ya. I linked the original post in today’s entry. ;)

  • Ummm Ang…What is Jiggle Bells

Yes…believe it or not…I believe we all try to make the most out of our days.

So were constantly trying to remember everything that we possibly can….but, lots of

times…I am a failure by not getting everything done. Guess what? I still get a chance

tomorrow to try and finish what I didnt get done today.  Guess what? If I didnt have

tomorrow to try and finish, I would never know, cuz I would be gone…just a thought.

Hope you are well…I do hope that you are feeling better.

  • Mmmm, ramble, me NEVER!!!  LOL!  Ang, you are NOT ALONE!

  • I wouldn’t worry too much about multi thinking. It is when you keep forgetting shit when things start to get really wierd.

  • Oh gracious girl!  You are as bad as me!  I just chalk mine up to chemo brain– or Mommy brain. Find something or someone else to blame it on– it helps.

  • i’m guilty as charged — both of wearing a side tail today (no scrunchy or elastic headband today), and in the late 90s, i thought it was cool to try that last hair-do, you know, that makes you look like ‘pinhead’ from hellraiser

  • Been told I have a one-track mind. Does that count?

  • Yup, your a blonde.
