So I took my children to the toy store tonight. Charlie had money, it was burning a hole in his pocket and he had plans for it… Boy that was not fun… I was thinking it would be easier to take him to the store then to listen to him keep asking to go.
When can we go to Toys ‘R’ Us? I wanna go. Can we go now? When Can we go? When I get home from school? When Dad gets home? When can we go to Toys’R'Us?
I don’t know. I don’t know. Later. I don’t know. Maybe… I DON”T KNOW!!
UGH… Now I’m remembering how insane that was driving me.
Anyway the toy store was packed… I thought people waited until the last minute to do their shopping. I guess they just waited until Charlie forced me to take him to the store. It was a phone tree… I can just picture it.
Yup…she’s out the door the kids are in the car… Lets’ go to the store now. Yup I’ve called my ten other people did you call yours … ooo… lets load up the bus and clog the lines before she gets to the register… let’s make her suffer. You know she hates shopping… sure she says she’s patient but if I jab her in the back with my elbow enough times and shove her a couple of times She’ll crack.
Did I mention that I haven’t had any caffeine today? I’m rereading this post thinking man am I crabby and irritable.
HMMMM… I wonder why?
Well Charlie got his toy and he is really happy. He didn’t use all of his money so he’s happy about that. I guess that is a good thing. I’m going to bed.

Thank you for thinking of me in your gift giving! I love to give to people! Did Charlie get Dragonology yet? I am not a coffee drinker at all but I am finding that hot chocolate is my craving these days. Chocolate has caffeine right? lol

As far as a gift from me to you… I think I would have to reciprocate the babysitting certificates because we all need someone to take over the care of our rugrats from time to time so we can rejuvenate, obtain more patience and let our hair have a break..lol. Gift certificate for your hubby and you to have a night out would go hand in hand with the babysitting. Have a great weekend.. Jen

Geez, you just reminded me I have to clean out my wife’s car. I did some shopping today, and the kids’ll be in the car tomorrow.
rest ye well. It’s only gonna get worse from here, so on behalf of the clerks, cashiers and greeters. Thank-you for coming three weeks early. The boy had some money left over?!?!? You should have made him buy you a coffee, naaaagh that wouldn’t be fair.
That sounds just like most coversations with my 4 yr old. He has a habit of asking things repeatedly. It drives me pretty close to crazy.
