My sister is the best. She rules. I realize I just got lucky on the winning streak. Call it her Christmas present to me.

My little sister is a giant turkey who hijacked my blog when I turned my back for a minute… I am off to kick her butt… GRrrr… Ang 

I am in Detroit… so of course I hit the Art-O-Mat, I am hooked what can I say. I only purchased one piece… If the candy bar, which is clay not chocolate, had said art bar I would have won something from the artist… maybe next time.

My brother inlaw is clever… He entered a contest to explain how the local Art-O-Mat got it’s bullet hole and he won three free pulls. (minds out of the gutter people)  Here is his story. It is hilarious if you take the time to read it.

We’re headed to the great Motor City… I should be packing and instead I’m wasting time with you guys… I just can’t help myself.

I am going to kick some more of my little sisters toosh… This time she won’t have Heather to help pull her out of a slump… You all think I’m bad, you should hear her… she’s bad.  Hey it’s all in love… we only resort to hair pulling and name calling once in awhile…

We have arrived! I don’t mean we’ve made it big, I mean we’re in Detroit. Now I’m wondering where’s my party?

The kids do a four hour drive standing on their heads, now. We had almost no fighting and only a little whining.

Of course I slept almost the whole way so I wouldn’t know if they did.  Now what to do, what to do… Ang

So much for the afterglow… I’m sitting here thinking about the week. How quickly it went. The loving, giving feelings that I had for my fellow man are slowly drifting into the past. I’m not saying I don’t  care about people. But I don’t look at someone and have cheer and goodwill consume my heart.

I’m thinking I should start evaluating the year I’m leaving behind so I can note my mistakes and accomplishments and take a general inventory on my life and what I want from it.

I’ve never been much for resolutions, not that I don’t believe in them. I just haven’t given them much thought. This year I’m going to though. I think my first resolution will be to stay away from the caffeine… That one should be easy, I have a head start on it. See now I’m getting ahead of myself first I should take a list of the last year. Yeah, I’m going to do that.

Okay.. in the spirit of Christmas I have to admit that I get my butt whooped by my little sis on a regular basis…

She can beat me at Dance Dance Revolution with out working up a sweat. Any video game she wins without a contest. I would say we’re equal on the trivia game front… we are both founts of useless information, what can I say.

So the kids have long ago ripped through their presents and we’re off to my parents for more food and folly. This Christmas has been great. I hope all of yours have been as full of LOVE and JOY as mine has.

Trivial Pursuit 80′s edition… My team won again… No… Dannielle was not on MY team… that means *gasp* She lost again!!

My little sister arrives today! I am so excited! I can’t wait to wipe the floor with her when we play Trivial Pursuit. Plus there is the added bonus that she is bringing the SAMMAN… my nephew, the best Nephew in the Universe.

I know there are a lot of people out there who just can’t seem to get into the holiday spirit… Sorry not me… This Christmas is going to ROCK!
