  • If you could be someone of the opposite sex who would it be? Real or imaginary, either.

I was thinking today that I would be Stone Barrington. He’s a character in Stuart Woods novels. There are many things I admire about him. One of which is his slightly bendable morals. He does have a very strong ethical code but it’s not exactly conventional. If any of you have read the books you know what I mean.

I find him appealing mostly I think because he’s so far away from who I am and anything I will ever be.

That’s the really nice thing about books, for awhile we can become something we’re not.

I’d better clarify here that I have no desire to be a man. I really, really like being a woman. (insert large grin here)

But you know sometimes it’s just fun to imagine. Ang

  • Hmm… I dunno about that one. Maybe Christian Bale?

    :: Still waiting

T-Day plans… dinner with my mom and daugther (and whatever strays we can round up)

  • Aragorn from LOTR

  • I am not sure I would want to be a member of the opposite sex….because I know I would wanna sleep with myself. But that’s beside the point right? Selma Hayek, Jessica Biel or maybe Jennifer Love Hewitt?

  • A wiser man than I once said, ‘if I had the body of a nineteen year old woman, I’d never leave my bedroom’.  It is a great question though, in a similar vein, as If they made a hollywood about you, which actor (gender neutral) would best play you?  That turns into scheduling issues, Oprah, Madonna, and Paris Hilton?   They’re all busy.  Gilda Radner, Kate Hepburn, and Marilyn Monroe, um aren’t with us anymore.  I’m going to take the high road, I’d like to walk a mile in Sheryl Crowes feet, or Queen Elizibeth II for a day.

  • I would be my boyfriend…… That way I would know what goes on in that beautiful head of his when he is in his quiet mode…..

so Thanks for the comment on my post, it really meant a lot.  Yeah this is a pretty screwy time in my life.  All I know is that again, I am not going to sit back and do nothing, and dwell on the would’ve, could’ve, should’ve  ‘s instead I am going to fight, and make it all right in the end.  It will take some time, but I know that when it’s all over with, all said and done….. everything is gonna be alright.  That is what my fabulous boyfriend keeps telling me.  Right now he IS my rock…..

  • Hmmmm, tough question.  Bill Gates lol

  • Mornin, one thing I have never imagined,[being a woman, ]

Goin to see the aquarium today in Atlanta, wahoooo fishes

  • Hmm.  I’ve never even considered the possibility of being a man.  I think I would get bored, doing nothing but going to work and coming home to sit on the couch and scratch my balls.  Unless, of course, scratching one’s balls is really that much fun.  I think if I were a man, though, Hugh Hefner might be a fun one.

  • Lol, some funny comments to your post. I have never thought about being a man so I am not sure whom I would pick to be! Maybe Acheron from the Dark-Hunter series of books. He’s very powerful, has unlimited funds, (comes with being thousands of years old), don’t mess with me attitude, the Gods fear him, etc… Anyone who has read those books knows who he is I guess!

  • i am glad to see from your comments that no one has chosen to be donald trump.

  • Well, I WAS gonna pick the Donald…..

    Just kidding.

I wanna be Dan Snyder ’cause I think I could be a better ‘Skins owner.

  • thanking for elucidating the science behind winter solstice :)

the first time i read wood’s writings about the stone barrington character, i kept getting images of the actor Bruce Willis…

if i was a female, i would be…..good question….hmm…..Ayn Rand? a good writer with a good sex life haha

  • fictional or imaginary? Samantha Stevens (Bewitched)

  • The aquarium was oh so totally awesome, never have seen anything even close. If you are ever down this way it is definitely a big must see. Took a lot of pics will post when I get home next week

  • I love Stone Barrington…I’ve missed the last couple books and your post makes me want to seek them out and catch up!  :)

  • Hmm… I’m not sure. Maybe Tom Hanks? I love him.
