Okay so today was trash day and I made the kids take the recycling out since I’ve been trying to get them to do more little chores and not doing everything myself. It was all good until the bus left and I had to spend ten minutes chasing down water bottles that the monsters hadn’t quite gotten into the pickup container. The wind blew them all over. Next week I’ll supervise better.
This is my community service message- recycle you plastic people…If you don’t it’ll still be in the land fill hundreds of years from now…If you only have room to do one thing and it’s a choice between newspapers and plastic…make the smart choice…paper biodegradable, plastic hundreds of years…hmmm…
Okay enough lecturing. I’m looking forward to the documentary coming out next week , An Inconvenient Truth It’s an Al Gore thing…so I know some of you will poo poo it right away but just for the sake of listening I’m going to. While I was chasing down plastic, I remembered I’d heard it all years ago, ages ago actually, when I worked as a projectionist at one of the local theaters, you know when they only had two screens… ANYWAY… now that I’m feeling old. This is it…I really like Blue Man Group and they were spreading the word before Al.

Al Gore’s voice puts people to sleep.
WHen I left work at 4:30 after a day of high winds and pounding rain and flash floods, everyone in the parking lot was looking up. So I looked up and the sky had opened up it was the most wonderful colors and there was a complete rainbow! THe brightest largest rainbow I ever saw. It stopped everyone.I which I would have had my camera. Then I had to wade through my flooded yard to get into my house. Hope you had a great day.
Hey Ang, RYC: I am glad you found the right person to share your rubber room
I am not against marriage – mine just didnt turn out so well. However, if I would have been as old as I am now – maybe I would have given it a better try – I should have been thinking about needing help in my senior years – like a few pushes in the wheel chair – taking out my teeth and putting them in my jar for me – mashing my food – wiping my chin
Anywhooo -> the comment about an institution…well ya know…its probably not all that bad…I remember some good bennys too. Hope your having a good night. Penny

OH……I loved the blue man band – will give another listen from work tonight. Laughter is one of the best medicines for a sour person
I used to do a PSA (public service announcment) in my street show before the finale’, that involved two balls and 20′ of rope. Whilst reminding the audience to please take part in reducing, reusing, and recycling. I would end by whipping the last five feet of the rope, before we really are ‘at the end of our string’…
by the way… BMG do rock. Thanks for reading and please continue. Hope you don’t mind if I sub myself, you have a friend in MST while living in PST.
Hey! Thanks for visiting my site!
How weird is that….Thursday is trash day in my neighbourhood too. Although here in SA we’re not big on recycling. I do my bit, but have to admit not to the degree I should!
See you…..
I can’t wait to see that… and I LOVE The Blue Man Group… they are awesome

How are you doin’? I am good,I need to go get a new vacuume cleaner,I have no luck with them, whatsoever!!!!!
I’m sure Gore’s film will be as truthful and honest as any by Michael Moore, Oliver Stone, or Leni Reifenstahl. Thankfully, we can blog about this since Gore invented the Internet.
i used to work as a projectionist too!
We want to see Inconvenient Truth as well. We don’t recycle much right now, but will look into options now that you have raised the idea. Have a stellar weekend!

RYC: The doctor told me on Monday that if it is a herniated disc, therapy will not do me any good. So, I am not sure what the spine specialist will say. As far as people I have talked to that have had herniated discs, they had to have surgery.
hey. waz up.
I forgot that you are a pinko libreal tree huging comie democrat. ;-P
