  • Painfully awake.

Okay I was all ready for bed, the moment I actually laid down and stopped moving, I started to feel the pain. Who knew you used so many muscles to paint a room. Ouch. Tylonol pm here I come. I’ve given it time and tried to go without pills for the sake of my liver but at this point I don’t care. Sweet blissful sleep that’s all I want. Is it too much to ask for. Of course I could do without the back ache and general muscle pain too… there I go getting greedy.

  • I hope you got some sleep! I was just about conked out by the time the hubby got home with the boy and his g/f from the game. Girly girl and I had some snuggle time, then I kicked her out and we both settled in for sleep… lovely sleep. Our morning has been all dogs from about 4:30 a.m. on, though, so now I’m wondering if I REALLY have to do all that stuff on my list today or if a nap could be in my future… Hmmm..

I hope the painting turns out how you want it to! We’ve got to do some of that here too in the great room, and the hallway, and the rec room, and… sigh. Pass the Tylenol, would ya?

  • Muscle relaxers can be your friend. LOL I hope you are feeling better– and that you got some sleep! By the way, are you going to post pics of the finished room?

RYC: You can pick your nose, but you can’t pick your family. Yes, it felt much better just go get it all out. I just hope people don’t think less of me for it.

  • Awww… sorry to hear about your back.  I bet the room likes nice though!!!

    Cheers!

  • So you got it done Huh.  Good!  You definetly deserve a rest enjoy.  I’ll be about the web all weekend.

  • It’s tough when you find those muscles.

  • I’ve been there also- I recently painted our bedroom (still have part of the last wall to finish…) and was pretty surprised to find my arm hurting the next day. I need to work out more I guess… never thought painting would be such a muscle-builder! I knew I was out of shape, but geez…

Don’t worry- at least our craft weekend will be pain-free… not too many muscle straining moves in soapmaking!

    :)
