TODAY really I’m gonna do it.
Well the kids are on the bus and I’m gonna do it. I’ve been trying to paint my sons’ room (Yes that apostrophe is in the right place.) for about a week now and I’ve been doing what I’m best at…procastinating!
Yesterday I filled all the holes. (there’s that word again, I must have a thing.) A kids room really shows you how destructive the little buggers can be when left unobserved. I think one of them(charlie) must have poked a lego corner into the wall, over and over and over. Let’s just say he won’t do anything like it again since he has been threatened with a fate worse then death if I catch him, dun dun dunnnnnnnn, loss of computer!
Well I am going to get to it. I’ve got the music *new cd* and I made arrangements to have Grandma and Grandpa take the monsters tonight for a bit, if I’m good it should be just enough time to get a second coat if the weather cooperates, which it probably won’t since it is raining out now. And that’s being optimistic anyway by assuming I’ll have the first one done, which lets be real for a sec, isn’t likely.lol
Okay I’m off. Here’s to accomplishing something! Ang

Painting is so cathartic. Just blast your music and get in the zone. You’ll be done in no time!
RYC: Yes, I get up early to shower before I wake the rugrats up for school.
We need to do some painting too; it’s even harder when you have dogs AND kids to keep outta there while it’s getting done. Don’t forget to open up the windows–we don’t want Momma passed out on the floor in a pile of paint!
What color are you painting it?!? Sounds like a fun project!!
Cheers!
I need to do that but have been putting it off. Were always busy with something. Yes, we use polish and glitter paint once in a while. In fact that stuff JAOlson bought is going to be used one one of my horses. Jasmine is using my son’s horse for costume class. JAOlson is my step daughter, not sure if you had that one figured out?
hahaha..
I hate to do that crap also. Fortunately I’m pretty damn fast at it. I also require very few drop clothes, so clean up is always easy. The hardest part is getting started. Just get in there and knock it out. Have fun.
RYC: I love a good long road trip and taking the scenic route. Currently we have a two year old, so long road trips have not been as much fun the past couple of years. We prefer flying.
Honey I know all about wall repair. I bought a house that was built in 1945. I have had to repair or replace almost every wall at least one sometimes twice.
I have been remodeling this house for the past six years I have been living here. It is even more difficult when somebody will not settle on one color.
Bathrooms are easy! So long as you have more than one.
It’s easy to get it done with jist a little preplanning. The big chalange is the floor. Do you go around the vanity or do you remove the hole sink an do all of the floor. The bathroom is also the perfect place to learn how to do tile. The hardest part is the plumbing, that take me awhile to do.
If you think they are fun to watch try riding in one! I’ve got lots of photos an video of some really cool stuff the press dosen’t show John or Jane Q Citizan.
By the way it’s ENG as in flight engineer
Good luck with the painting! It can be quite a bugger, I know.
I just finished reading “Grendel” and “Beowulf” and there was all this talk of funeral pyres and existentialism, and I think that’s what inspired it.
just paint like the flight of the bumble bees!!!!!!!
ewww hows it going with the painting
I love to paint…willis haha see I thought that IM session was funny

Come back and see me sometime.
Look at you with your Xanga posse! ?
Did Marty talk to you about Zoo Boo??? You should get us and the kids tickets to sesame street live with Super Grover……
Hello and Good mornin to Ya.
I know exactly what you mean about kids and their rooms when left to their own! My oldest son has made some dents in his room with various toys over the years, he taped posters on his wall instead of using the poster tacky stuff I told him to, so the walls have gotten damaged when he pulls the tape off! Not to mention the coloring on the walls each of them have gone through in their toddler years!! We have painted every room in our house,(living room, stairwell, and upstairs hallway twice), just about and it seems like it is a neverending process! Chase, Jasmine and I had fun painting our basement walls before Adrian was born. I painted the walls a bright sunny yellow to brighten the basment up. Then I let the kids use other colors and animal shapes to sponge on the part of the wall they could reach. After that we went all the way around the room and did their handprints for the border aout 4 feet up the wall
