I thought I’d do a FAVORITE THINGS POST, I haven’t done one in awhile.
The above video is one I saw a long time ago on Trebelclef’s site, today I was listening to another one of my favorite things, This American Life on NPR and they were talking about it, so I thought I would share it here.

But since I’ve quit that…. Candles that smell good… Perfumes and body sprays…. and beautiful flowers… All things with scents and I am a migraine suffer’er.. Go figure?

I am glad for you to get jawbreakers. They have the cinamon ones called atomic bombs. Boy is that tasty.
I have never seen where they sell zinc oxide, the stuff that makes people’s noses white. That stuff is probably the cheapest sunblock unless you are lucky like me to find some free sunblock.
I suppose any lanoline is good for dry skin. Make sure you take care of dry skin on the foot of a diabetic. If their skin cracks they are in for a lot of trouble.

@angi1972 - I have to say I have always hated that song- I saw the movie that bears it’s name the night my great Uncle (who was like my grandfather) died and I’ve always associated it with that horrible memory. But this version… this version I love…and it’s taken the stigma off the song for me! Thanks!
I love that video of the song, too! So great! If only the world functioned that way, huh? I also love Oil of Olay products. They are the only thing that make my skin feel good. Some people think I am younger than I am, and I say it is because I use Oil of Delay! LOL! I have so many favorite things. Lazy mornings hanging out in my PJ’s. A great book to read. Coffee! The sun shining through blue glass. Watching the ocean waves. The feel and smell of a sweet, new baby in my arms. A great worship service at church that lifts me towards Heaven. Laughing with my hubby. Oh! You said ONE of my favorite things! Sorry!
Smithsonian is classy. I bet you know all kinds of fascinating things from reading that!
Favorite things? I’ll just list some that happened to be in this week: watching a great old movie with friends, talking about life in Christ with a good friend for a couple hours in a coffee shop, seeing a new piece of art done by my son, reading a novel by Patrick O’Brian, laughing with my wife. How are those?
