Working today. I have MAILART to get out! Things are coming along well and I’m having such fun. I will make my first trip to the post office on Friday.
The kids are home for the week. It’s spring break here. I have fallen off of the wagon today and am right now in the process of downing a liter of Mt. Dew. I need the caffeine to deal with all of the “I’m bored” and “Mom, He/ She’s bugging me!” Oh the pressure of entertaining children.
Also, Easter is this weekend! My Lil Sis and Darling Nephew are coming up for the weekend. This means that I need to clean the house and learn how to use the GPS that she sent me so that I can go geocaching with her. Otherwise she won’t share with me… well maybe she will, but she shouldn’t, since she was nice enough to send it to me and I should figure out how to use it. I have all of the Easter Basket fixings except for the candy and the baskets. Something else that needs to be done.
Well the caffeine is kicking in, better take advantage of it. Ang

I can’t believe it’s almost Easter weekend already.
Mountain Dew is a beautiful thing, isn’t it? Such a lovely caffeine/sugar-filled beauty!
RYC: almost too thought provoking. What you said is very true…I realize there are people there who need the help, I guess at what cost to us? It’s a really lousy (for lack of a better word) situation, to say the VERY least!
I have the baskets and nothing else. *sigh*

so in other words you only have that green plastic grass that gets all over the place kinda like chrismas tree tinsel? I remember spring break, if we said we were bored, Daddy would give us all a nice new bar of Ivory soap to carve and Mom made us help clean house (well except for my only brother and he didn’t have to do anything)…get busy ….your burning daylight

i have desided unless its Dan Im going to beep out all my swearing. or unless its on my blog.
Became a real caffine addict myself back when the kids were little and I was working rotating 12 hour shifts. A liter a day is about right for me, but all diet stuff.
GPS is a blast, one of those things that you didn’t know you needed so badly until you get one. We just got a real cheapy, maybe upgrade this spring.
Being Grandma to a brood, I not only have baskets, gobs of candy, but presents. I figure they gulp everything so fast, it’s good to have something left in the basket. RYC: To CynaraJAnes, my box is not secure. I am working feverishly on my mail art, rather I was, until, you guessed it, I came down with a bit of under-the-weather. I shall resume post-haste as soon as I am sure I am not contagious! Thanks for thinking of me.

Caffeine helps, when you’ve got kids to entertain? *goes and buys a 6 pack of Red Bull* Vodka might work better. Mine are home for another week and a a half *screams* lol
I have baskets, plastic eggs and not much else. We are doing the shopping for Easter basket fixings tomorrow while the kids are at their religion classes!

ryc: all my goings out are after kiddo goes to sleep, a few times a week, while hubby stays home (and either works, or watches sci-fi shows that I refuse to watch with him!)
I could seriously use some Moutain Dew right now. Ever have one of those days when your desk wants to rush up and slap your head? Yep, I’m so there.
