Alright, I am much calmer and a little cooler today.
I probably did over react a little bit. I’m not sorry I said anything though. I am sorry however that I mass massaged everyone since I’m not sure the issue deserved the attention I asked for. So I learned a lesson… When I’m upset I will step away from the mass message button.
You guys were great and you made me feel a little better, even the few who thought I was wrong.
I probably should have divulged that when I was younger, my little sister had her head split open by kids throwing “stuff” in the water when we were at summer camp one year. She had to get stitches, I don’t remember how many, I am sure she does.
ANYWAY…
Moving on.
I get to see @Seedsower soon! Tomorrow!
She is taking a little side trip to go to a flea market with me before she and @SaintVI take off on their epic journey. Route66.
I am so excited!
Can you tell?

I’m glad you’re feeling better today! I guess the episode with your sister brought it all back to the present when that was going on with the boys. Please give Beth a big hug for me! I miss her and she’s heading in the opposite direction from me this time. Have FUN!!
I thought of you today when I was at a water park with my kids and some boys were throwing ROCKS while waiting in line for a ride. The difference was that these were toddler boys with their parents, who were allowing it. They were throwing them into an open space, but they were chucking them hard, and people were waiting in line on the other side…..it was dangerous and ridiculous that the parents thought that was OK! Anyway, glad you’re feeling better about it. HAVE FUN with Beth! Post pics!
I just saw your message and commented on your previous post. So glad you get to ee Beth tomorrow!!!

I think you did the right thing to say something. I would have. Dont be hard on your self. Have fun visiting!
Say hello to her for me – I’ll see her on Sunday or Monday… Yippee! Have fun and don’t worry about the mass message – I only get annoyed with them when they are asking for $$ or “to be special friend so we can exchange photos and share joy” hehe!
You didn’t overreact. We all get upset about stuff like that all the time. There was bullying and bad behavior going on. That would have gotten anyone worked up. I get all upset by people behaving badly regardless of their ages or genders or where the situation is occurring all the time. Violence like that always first angers me then later makes me depressed.
It’s not important that the firefighters didn’t step in right away. You’re the hero for stepping in. Heros aren’t always the people in cool uniforms driving shiny trucks. Sometimes a hero is someone who is willing to risk looking bitchy to save others from suffering.
Give Beth a hug for me! Regarding the mud throwing incident. You followed your heart. You CARED. That is never wrong! Glad it is a bit cooler there today! :-9
A great meet today, Ang !!
I guess you will enjoy a good time with Beth . .
Love
Michel
( at last, I am back)
Glad you’re feeling better today.
Dang – you get to see Beth and go to the flea market….this just proves you did the right thing mornin glorie….you are being showered with blessings….ilym….have fun and be safe and stick to your guns
I missed all the drama! I guess I could go back and read it but it wouldn’t make me feel any differently about you one way or the other. That’s because I like you. Got it? Now, go and have fun with Beth – I want to go too! Peace
So this is what is termed xanga drama.
Did you have a great visit with Beth? She is awsome!
you did great, Ang!… that kind of behaviour gets snuffed out pretty quickly, here in Chicago, … people won’t stand for that, and now, stand up quickly especially when groups of kids are involved, for good reason… there was a period of time, earlier, this summer, where gangs of teens were doing store robberies, (mostly arriving en masse, and swiping armfuls of merchandise,) and strong arm robberies and attacks on people downtown …EVERYONE spoke up, demanding the city do more to protect us… it all starts with one person being concerned enough to take the lead…honestly, i have never seen as many cops around, as i have, lately…
@lorilily - I did! I miss her already!
eh a 100 freakin degrees probably didn’t help much, maybe those little mud slingers will grow up to be congressmen
Commented on the below blog. Just wanted to say I hope you and seedsower had a great time…and ElevenStones is right! LOL!
@ElevenStones - that is soo funny
I love the support and reponses that I get when I blow off the steam that accumulates from living day to day. Xanga is a kind friend and full of opportunitities to learn more about others and ourselves. (pats heart and points to you)
