When the bee stings…
FAVORITE VIDEO/MUSIC
Isabelle and her friend are working on a Rube Goldberg Machine… It reminded me of this band, OKGO they always make their videos a joy. In fact one of the only bands that I would actually purchase a video of for my iPod. (another one of my favorite things)
FAVORITE FALL THING
Milk weed
When we were young we would crush the pods and watch the milky goo ooze out.
Seeing them always makes me smile. I think of the fun we will have combing over them searching for tiny emerald and black monarch caterpillars to raise.
In the fall I love watching the seeds being pulled from the pods, floating off into the wind.
FAVORITE GUILTY PLEASURE
Korean dramas…

Why?
I guess mostly because it’s a mental vacation… I like seeing the food and the surroundings… and although I would never make it without the subtitles, I now know how to say…
Yes, No, Senior, thank you, and FIGHTING! In korean…

FAVORITE GAME

It is so cool that the kids are old enough to play more adult games now.
We have been working on Rook… Next stop EUCHRE!
FAVORITE THINGS posts always make me feel better.
My FAVORITE part of the post…
What’s one of your favorite things?
You know I love to pressure you.

Rook… did you go to Wheaton college, by chance? Or some other evangelical school?
I remember seeing that video or one like it. Excellent. Totally cool. Be sure to post videos of your daughter’s.
that was AWESOME! thanks for sharing. MUAH.
reminds me of that game mouse trap
wow, that korean stuff is right out of left field. that’s reaching pretty far out there, but good for you
Cool post, Ang.
One of my favorite things is dancing. I need to be doing more of it.
You.
Those are some pretty good favorites but none of them beats yoga.
Yum for Korean dramas. The bane of my entire academic career lol. Have you watched 9 in 2 outs or My name is Kim Sam Soon? (2 of my all time faves)
OMG that was totally bad ass!! so not only was that a good video but the music was good to listen too!!
I also am a fan of milkweed. they are welcome in my flower beds!!
@Roadkill_Spatula - I did not… My Husband however DID.
Since I learned from him, maybe there’s something to it?
@Random1974 - No… YOU!
@angi1972 - Most definitely. My sister (who attended Wheaton for a year) learned to sing, “I could have danced all night, but I’m a Wheatonite, so I played Rook instead.” And nearly every missionary I knew in Colombia played Rook.
@moolgishin - My Name is Sam Soon is on my list, and I will check into the other one. Have you seen Personal Taste? So far I think it has been my favorite.
@Roadkill_Spatula - I should clarify that he didn’t go to Wheaton… but another evangelical university.
@the_fur_pimp - Ypu shpu;d see the tread mill video… Ypu probably have already since I am sure I’ve posted it a couple of times in the past… It makes me cry when I see people pulling milk weed from their gardens… I’m glad you leave yours!
@angi1972 - The game is (or was) ubiquitous in evangelical culture. A lot of the missionaries had been to other schools.
Neat video…
I have a couple of friends who also love Korean dramas so much that I told them they have this “Korean Fever”, haahaaa…!
I will always like your close up, Ang .
I could not access at the Korean video ( currently available in the United states only)

My favorite things ” singing and gardening!!
Love
Michel
@fauquet - Those are two of my favorite things too! I like seeing your garden almost as much as I like mine… Not quite, but almost!
The smell of alfalfa drying in the sun Nothing tops it!
@angi1972 - Personal Taste was pretty good… and very to-the-point (which is my biggest beef about the more traditional dramas… the characters become wayyy too roundabout with their feelings >.<). I also recommend Air City (provides a different perspective into how an airport works, with likeable characters), Couple or Trouble (I could watch this over and over again), and 50 million more that I could recommend. lol. Let me know if you ever need recommendations by genre! Heh.
always love your favorite things!
