Cloud Catching
Cooper, Ben and I went on picture quest today.
It was a perfect cloud day!
I found this field and Cooper and I walked on the edge.
“Your going to be my model today.” I told him.
“Well, what should I do?” he said.
“What do you want to do?” I asked
“I like the clouds.” He said looking around. “I think I’ll catch a cloud!”
“I think I’ll catch… THAT ONE!”
“Jump for it.” I said, so he did.
“I got it.” He said, proudly staring at his hands imagining he clutched a cloud.
Today was a perfect cloud day.

looks like it to me!
I love this! Please tell Cooper to save one for me… I spent my day painting clouds on the inside of my meditation space, so if it isn’t a perfect cloud day I’d have some to look at anyway.
Lovely!
sweet!
This is such a sweet post. And lovely photos.
Cloud catching is the mostest fun of all!!! We have a big ole garter snake living in the rockpile, which will someday become my fireplace. I call him Herman. I tried to get Herman to make himself into a circle for you today, but he was too busy chasing toads.
Cute. Absolutely a Kodak moment.
such wonderful pictures =) i love cloudy days
Adorable. We had a perfect cloud weekend here, too! Loved it…
How wonderful! He was the perfect model!!!
I’d say. Great photos! thanks for sharing…hi to Cooper!
Thanks to big Corporate and Mother Brain, we’ve recently figured out how to create artificial aerosal based clouds
That will slowly glide out of the heavens and catch your children.

Aww… so sweet! How blessed you are to have such a wonderful model! It was a perfect cloud day here yesterday, too! We went for a drive with friends and had a picnic along the river. My husband thinks I am silly for taking so many pictures of clouds, but I just can’t get enough of them!
Nicely done, Cooper!
Great photos!
Nicely done, mama.
Beautiful…
I love the idea of catching clouds — and what wonderful photos of a boy in a field doing just that!
Those clouds are from the Bahamas Mornin Glorie….they call to you…’come on down – the clouds are perfect everyday here”….well…that’s what they tell me anyway
….
Ang – you won’t believe this but…we did go see Joe Cocker…we got there late and only heard four songs…but guess what the first one was…yup – bathroom window…I said Oh Thanks Ang…and Barry looked at me and said –

i thought he was catching a grass hopper for some reason.
hey, he might hate to get his photo taken some day-you never know with kids. my son who is 34yrs old now got his baseball suit on when he first got it and he said,”mom, take my photo cause I’m really cute.” I guess that is what it was for-when he looked cute.and darn if I didn’t have any film that day but we got photos out on the diamond.
What great pictures. I love the story with them, too. Nothing more special than mommy moments.
@mlbncsga - HA! I am so glad! THis morning I was thinking.. even if I did like that song I should have told you to listen for You are So Beautiful… well cause you are, and because I know it would be a gaurenteed sing! lol I’m glad you got to go listen.
The ‘catching a cloud’ picture would make a nice desktop
nice
One cannot imagine the children’s imagination .
The photos are very good in the summer spirit .
Love
Michel
Beautiful, honey! It does sound like a perfect cloud day. I could so see pictures 2, 3 & 4 in a frame with three panels in it… not only are you a great photographer; but you have a beautiful son.
@Shirlann - Thank you! I went to a lighthouse today and thought of you!
That is so creative…and fun!!
Sounds like a perfect day in general.
