What an interesting location! Bet there was all kinds of interesting aquatic life. My daughter would just love poking around those flats. To answer your question — so many answers — can’t do worse than the beautiful faces of my wife and daughter.
Last night I dreamed about a place just like the one in this picture. I was hopping from rock to rock until finally I just started wading in the water, and eventually found a shadey spot unter a tree growing along the bank. I sat in the shallow water in the shade catching fish with a string tied to a stick. The dream got pretty weird after that….
I get this very often, I am reminded when a firetruck bleeps at me, or my boy laughs, or someone comes in from the garden with an arm load…yep, lots of reasons to be thankful for my life!!!
a good poem! =)
Yeah! That little truck was fun!!!
I LOVE this picture! Hope summer is going well
I like to be at church and look at all the sweet faces around me. I feel like a mom to so many of the people. We have prayed with them, cried with them, trained them and loved them. It just feels so satisfying! I also enjoy just sitting with a cup of coffee and looking out the window at the trees, listening to the birds and enjoying the quiet promise of a new day. There are many things in my life that make me smile and feel good. Thanks for making me think of them! That is an awesome picture of your kids! I can understand how it makes me feel good!
that is a stupendous photo!
i love seeing the sunset on the lake on the bow of my boats with a fishing pole in my hand!
as a kid I had the most fun doing that
Mornin Glorie….there was a quail calling in back of the office when I came in this morning – I couldn’t see him but his song made me real happy….kids looking for tadpoles makes me happy too….have a great weekend Ang…ilym
Oh,when I hear laughter, and see love in action, someone helping someone else. Being there with you was one of those moments.
I got to see Carly’s kids last night for the first time in a long while. That made me happy!
I may be older than your Dad, but I still remember hunting for tadpoles and crawdads on the banks and in the rippling waters of Paddle Creek as a child.
Amazing, isn’t it?
