I decided I’d better take a moment, stop running all over the countryside, and do a post!
Today is the last day of…
Cherry Festival!
There is a parade this afternoon and fireworks tonight, but I don’t know if I have the energy left to go.
My Little Sister has been dragging me all over and it’s been WONDERFUL!
I have at least three or four blogs worth of pictures.

Oh yes, we have a lot of festivals. There is something going on almost every weekend all summer long. We have been having a good summer here…had some great company stop by.

Too many festivals and not enough summer.
A watermelon festival, but I don’t think I’ll make it this year. Those cherries look deeeelicious!

You managed to include two of my favorite things with only two pictures! Our town hosts the worlds greatest lizard race. Sisters are the best. I’ll be mailing a package this coming week. Peace

yes, we have a peach festival in the town of Weatherford but hubby won’t go cause peaches give him the willies’
Summer Motion was going on here last week. It’s usually a lot of fun, but I was working!
I LOVE FESTIVALS!! and Gahanna Ohio is always having something going on, unfort for me, I’m broke all the time and I can’t afford to go. I’ll at least have to make it to one before the season ends.
We just had a Sidewalk Chalk Festival. Okay, maybe not a festival, but probably 20-30 people, kids and adults, chalking art onto the sidewalk. Prizes were handed out. My daughter Grace did it last year, but we had other things going on this year.
No festival and I no that water is as cold as it looks!

Have you been to the Tulip Time festival in Holland (Michigan)? I haven’t been there in springtime in many years, but in the olden days it was magical…. local business people scrubbing the streets before all those Dutch girls come out to dance … and you must go see my Uncle Vern Veldheer’s tulip farm… and buy wooden shoes in his shoe factory…good times!
i love the depth of field in the beach pic. sort of looks like a tilt shift miniature image. if ya don’t know what tilt shift is, then ya gotta google it cuz i can’t explain it
there are plenty of summer fests in chicago. i’m just too lazy to go. and too cheap, as a lot of them cost money. but i have hit a few (the lit fest and art fest), and will hit one or two more before the summer’s over. but i missed the one i wanted to go to the most. it was a ribfest out in a nearby suburb. oh well, next year
Mornin Glorie…we have an Arts Festival – it’s always the weekend of our family reunion…but I help jury the applications so I get a pre-view of the art – it’s lots of fun…..but what I really would like is a cherry festival – I don’t think it gets cold enough for cherries here…..Sisters are the best…..I really like the lake shore picture too…..ilym

Rochester has a Lilac festival. It is a beautiful event. then there are other festivals all summer long.
@mercyless1 - I bought a lens baby… I am enjoying playing with it… Although I have to admit it is miss far more then hit! lol
Need to catch up with all your goings on. Have been away for a month and now playing catch up here at home before I start too many other projects. Will have faces (found a couple unusual ones) and think some circles for you soon. Hope you are having a great summer.
We don’t have fruit festivals! That sounds so cool but too bad we do not have fruit farms. Chinese new year is the most eventful one for me.
