Went snow shoeing Monday.
Talk about a kick butt exercise.
Played with shadows.
It was a good day.
I found some tiny CIRCLES.

I have never felt the need (or even had the opportunity) to strap things on my feet to walk in snow. I sort of envy you

I’ve always thought of snowshoes as last resort survival gear. Nice photos. I like the little circles in the dried weed. The Queen Anne’s lace is nice too.

Today I saw the sun bursting to life over the Bay while taking my dog on her morning walk. Some days that’s the only beauty I see, but it’s a doozy.

Yes! I saw these really cool pictures that you shared! Everything here has been dark and dreary today, but it won’t rain. We surely need rain so maybe it’ll happen. I think I’d even be OK with a little of your snow. I’m sure I wouldn’t be able to walk the next day if I tried snowshoeing. Peace
@shellisland - My butt was killing me! I went as far as I could go and then turned back… I should have turned back when I had gone HALF as far as I could go. lol

Ah that snow looks fun. We seemed to have all of our snow quota for this year over here. Though i did manage to build a small snowman.

Was it hard to walk in the snowshoes? I have heard that it is tons of fun. Great pictures!
Great photos but I’m just tired of snow and cold…don’t want to see it any more..Never tried snowshoes but have done a bit of cross country skiing…it’s just too much work.
I’ve always wanted to go snow shoeing-it looks like fun. I loved winter weeds picture. I heard something beautiful today: Birds! That means spring is just around the corner….
