Randomness

Oh how fun candle smoke can be!
When I get a new camera, it will definitely be something to play with.
One of that many things I love about visiting Detroit is the great graphic signs all over.
When I saw this one I had to get a picture…

Totally random? I forgot to cancel my internet contract. Now I have it for another year.

I have no randomness to report as of yet. I am well into my routine and everything is humming along in well ordered predictability.
Ok. One of Max’s ears are sticking up. That’s pretty random for him. It’s a spin-off of how he used to adore Sargeant, our German Shepherd that we had to put to sleep in 2006. Max worshipped the ground he walked on, and at the time, due to ear surgery, Sarge only had one ear sticking up. Max used to try so hard to keep that ear up, but it goes back down when he quits thinking about it.
Is that random enough? I can’t think of anything else at the quick moment. And, fortunately, Max’s ear WAS standing up…

Totally random? Waking up to hot sunshine, and having severe thunderstorms that seemed to go on forever about 7 hours later! The skies changed in a matter of minutes!

Nothing is totally random in my mind. I, unfortunately, connect the dots even when it’s not warranted. The dots I am connecting from your post is that it’s not candle smoke, but CIGARS! You were having cigars at Thanksgiving, weren’t you?

In Indiana, while driving to my daughter’s home near Indianapolis, I spied a billboard in a farmer’s field that said, “Hell is Real” in large white letters on a black background. On the other side of the sign was the statement, “Jesus is Real”.
That’s about it.
Random? My life seems to be anything but random at the moment. How about mundane?

No random experiences pop into my mind at 6:38AM, but it was a nice holiday and even nicer Black Friday getaway with my darling wife. Your table setting is very pretty. Elegant. Not so much the boys.
have you ever been to zingerman’s roadhouse in ann arbor? i just read that it’s a great place. really authentic regional american food. gonna have to plan a trip up there myself

Yesterday I was out caching and the driver decided he needed an espresso NOW (that isn’t random, it’s common and predictible) but there were no stands to be found (that’s odd, but not random) so he decided we’d have to stop somewhere and go in. But my bright eyes spotted an espresso stand and he swerved in line and as we waited our turn, I noticed a small sign proudly announcing that a bikini barista would be serving us our coffee today. That’s random for ya, we wouldn’t have gone if we’d realized it, but the guy was desperate for the coffee so we pretended she had clothes on as we chatted about our Thanksgivings.

I have kids… teenagers, no less. Everything they do is random, I think! Glad you had a good holiday & enjoyed your random moments.
Okay, okay, random moment of my car trip home: Girly Girl was tired of being pestered by her Daddy (who was in the second row with her), so when he went to poke or tickle her for the ump-teenth time, she yelled “Don’t even!!” to which I responded very quickly with “Do Odd!” My sister found that hysterical for some reason. I think we were all just tired…
My grandsons were here with us for 5 days. Lot’s of random things; mostly about what they like to eat.
Would you believe they both liked talapia (fish) I may not have spelled it right. I was amazed.

My best Thanksgiving randomness was having a great dinner prepared by a friend from India. Much better than traditional American Thanksgiving.
