I guess I am relevant noise!
You all know by now that I am a hot dog fan.
Last April I did THIS blog on our favorite local hot dog place, House of Doggs.
Yesterday I was looking at my footprints and noticed that someone had googled
This isn’t unusual,
during the summer months I get several hits for it a month.
This time, shortly after the search prints, a Xanga blog came by with the name
HOUSE OF DOGGS
and a very nice comment was left at the bottom of the post!
Thanks for the props!! I used to live in Grand Rapids , grew up on Yesterdog! That’s one of the reasons I started the House Of Doggs!
Thanks Again!
Nick
House Of Doggs
How cool is that!
The owner took the time to start a xanga and leave a comment!
The beginning of this summer they moved to a new location in Old Town, Traverse City.
The kids and I haven’t had a chance to make it in to the new location yet,
but I think we now have a great excuse to go!
(The kids are trying to convincing Ben to break the record for most chili dogs eaten.)
Of course I will tell you ALL about it!
What is your most frequently googled post or tag?

Oh I have never even checked…. I think I turned it all off.
x
Those hot dogs look divine!
That’s pretty cool!
I did a post called The Fortune Cookie Game that used to get a lot of hits from Google. I haven’t checked recently.
boy that last picture is worth a thousand words-LOL!
I love hot dogs, but they do not love me. but they look soooooooo good
I guess I don’t really check!
Yummy hot dog. I had one for lunch today. We have Zwiegle hots here that are our local favorites.
When I was doing resdency in Patholgy, I took a thin slice of hot dog, and looked under the microscope.
I won’t tell you anything more.
Your pictures look good though. With the right amount of relish or mustard they also smell divine.
Well as you know I usually put in some unusual tags. I’m going to guess “Hating Yanni.” That’s gotten more than a few hits.
Might check later… It is a pleasure to prepare hot dogs when they are appreciated. We tried self-made hot dog decoration parties to get the kids occupied. Do it outside – or give a first prize for best cleaning up…
That’s really cool!
I don’t let people google my blog
I have never checked, either. House of Dogs, huh? That’s cool!
The post that gets the most hits is one I did titled “Viewer or Voyeur” (a rant about reality shows). I get hits from all over the world – I’m sure the young men are hoping for pictures of nudes.. The next most visited page is “A Kinky Kind of View” (a post about training to sex mice) - again hits worldwide and again severe disappointment to those probably same young men!
Hot dogs are the most vile, disgusting, revolting things ever… but I love them!!!
I think I will probably have 1 or 2 for dinner now, your pictures are yummy.
I took away my ability to be search engined after I used the full name of a guy in my class sophomore year and years later noticed someone had gotten to that entry by googling him (possibly the guy)… I didn’t say anything bad about him, but the story I recounted was kind of lame and the whole thing made me feel really stupid.
OMG! Me too! I just love hot dogs! My standard dog includes mustard, ketchup, bread and butter cucumber pickle stackers and diced onions.
But I am open to just about any variation. The one thing, the dog HAS to be grilled, NOT boiled. How could you do this to me when I am so hungry???
@vanedave - This is the link to probably my most popular searched for item… I keep thinking I should change the title, but everytime I think how disappointed someone probably gets when they come to see it I laugh!

“Sarah Palin Swimsuit” will get you more than a couple.
I love the dogs but as I have aged I have turned to the whole weat high fiber bun and turkey franks…I know so sad
nice!!
I never checked….but your dogs look fantastic!!! I love Chicago dogs, filled with mustard, relish, onions, cucumbers, tomatoes and celery salt!!! Yummy!!!!
not that big a fan of dogs here. i know, what kind of chicagoan am i right? i dig pizza and burgers more, but once in a while i will have a dog. so i think i’ll look up a buddy of mine and hit a hot dog stand. he’s been looking for a good dog
ok, so now I’m hungry! That first dog looks really yummy!
I like hotdogs from Gray’s Papaya in NY
I never liked hot dogs, but always loved breakfast sausages.
@Gringottsbank - Seedsower and I went there on our trip to NYC… it was VERY yummy… I posted on it if you want to see thier dogs. lol
B O O B I E S
My mouth is already watering !
I don’t have a clue….I never check!
I live hot dogs,I dream of Grey’s Papaya!
That is cool that he came by and commented!
I want to go there when I come!
I put hot and chicks in the same post once and get hits for hot chicks all the time. It was a hot day on a chick trip with the old ladies on year….I guess they are disappointed to see sweaty old ladies instead of hot babes.
@seedsower - I will put it on the list, I don’t know how we are going to fit it all in. lol
@TheTheologiansCafe - See reply to seedsower… below this…
@seedsower - This is the thing people search the most by my page… sometimes I think about changing the title but every time I think of their disappointment when they come by it makes me giggle…

I loved The Weiner Works in Fayetteville… I just got a big hoot over the name! LOL But the dogs were good!
Now I want a hotdog!
@RdKingClassic03 - Wtf?
This post seriously makes me hungry. Haha.
LOL! I don’t even no how to check it! Portillo’s in Chicago is my favorite dog!
Well, I did a blog post about a Skillet concert I went to this May, with a bunch of pictures on it. I get a least 10 footprints a day on that post from google images. Hehe
Next time you’re in H.O.D. Introduce yourselves! If you liked the old location you should love the new one. More room, way nicer restrooms (lol) and an expanded menu!
Thanks again for the props!
