ALRIGHT. I think I’m done throwing barns at you.
I didn’t realize I had so many on here.

I think there are fifteen more in my photoblog I didn’t use.

    The really funny thing is…

There are still dozens of them

    almost right out my door

waiting for me to come take pictures of them.

    It’s a full moon soon…

I don’t have the round barn with the full moon behind it yet…

    Hmmm…

    I need to do a barn book…

What else I am I going to do with all of these?

I’m not even sure I LIKE barns sometimes.

    Do you feel harassed?

  • Nope, I could look at barns all day long!!!! you do that book and I will buy one (if you will autograph it for me )

  • I love barns too. Yours are just beautiful. There are not many barns left around here. They are all falling down..or burned or torn down. Occasionally I’ll see one and think, It’s not going to be long until they’re all gone! People don’t use them anymore here.

  • As long as its something different than DOORS….
I’ve seen that word so many times, I forgot what it means. lol

  • I tried starring some of them again-star. but it won’t let me since I did some of them before

  • @Gerald_Washington - Really? Are you sick of DOORS? lol I think everyone is getting that way.lol Maybe I should start calling them mystical entrance ways… or Portals. lol

HEY… did you go back and harrass them at the paper?! DO IT!

  • Picture perfect … just like a postcard!

All the barns in my town are old and ready to fall down.  So it was nice to see some pretty barns.

  • @LifeNeedsProtection - I have some pictures of ones like that too. lol

  • I love all these pics! The poppies, the cherries, the round one! Great shots of one of America’s dying breeds.
I will be away Fri-Sun,I will miss ya.

  • I love the top one!!! Can you ship it to me please.

  • I totally think you need to do a barn book.  I also think you need to get some gallery to do a photography event/show for you.  Your photos are fab!

  • aye, that’s a lotta freakin’ barns. don’t see many (any) of those here in the city. would be neat to go out one day to shoot a barn and some of them big stacks of hay. always wanted to, but i’m real lazy

ryc: the cell phone caused the demise of the phone booth. and you are missing out on a lotta fun with guitar hero. it makes the musically ungifted like myself feel like i’m really playing the songs. but rock band is better cuz you and friends, peers, kids, etc can rock out together

  • They would be great on a calendar!

  • I’m not sick of doors, barns, flowers or feet and hands. Harass away!

  • Nope not harrassed. Love the pics, but then I’ve seen barns my whole life and don’t get tired of them. :o

  • LOVE that country! Nice photos.

  • Never! You really do need to do a barn book. Even if it is just one for yourself. There are amazing. If you have a Mac you can easily do one with their iphoto feature. I did one of Australia… hard copy around 30 bucks.

  • I love barns!  Used to have one of my own before moving to Europe.  Sigh.

  • the first one is the best, followed by the red round barn.

    thanks, Ang

    I always enjoy your pics

  • I like the first one as well. Nicely done!

  • Nice pics. The scenery looks great, barns or no barns.

  • ::waving at Betsy::  Great pics! As always.  Merry Frey Day~

  • Great photos! I love the one with the poppies, and the sunflowers….they’re all beautiful!

  • awesome pics.  I love the one with the wheat field.  Those are my favorite places to geese hunt.  I have an old barn that would fit right in with the rest of your pics.

  • LOL!! Always good pics!

  • You know Ang , I know women who are sea lover , the sea girls , others love the doors , the doors girls , and others again love the barns , preferently old and all of things is around : flowers , popies , lavender , WW , cows, weth field , sunflowers   . I wonder If in your ascendants there are a lot of farmers . probably yes . Perhaps our Ang is a farmgirl ?
      Love
    Michel

  • @fauquet - Oh you are right! Like always… BUT I also love the water and the city… I am very lucky in that the area I live is close to it all because I wouldn’t want to trade any of it!  I would also love to come where you live! Someday! (hugs) Ang

  • Love the farm pictures.  Reminds me of being in the Free State last week.  The countryside and rural life is just so much more interesting to look at and be a part of than being in a dumpy city – in whatever part of the world.

  • You DO need to do a barn book!  I enjoyed looking at every one of these pictures.  It would be neat if you could find photos of some of these old fellows being built…the historical aspect is interesting too.  Peace

  • Those are beautiful! There are no barns around here. But I do think there are at least two homes in the well-to-do neighborhoods that purposely painted and landscaped their property to look like a barn…..Needless to say those home stand out here in the burbs.

  • Not in a million years   !!!!!!!!!!!

Poppies – Lavendar – Cherries – these are a few of my favorite things and I can’t get any of them to grow here for love nor money…. My daughter brought me a lavendar sachet from France and I keep it in my pocket, other than that I have to depend on you to let me know these things are well and doing fine….

Have a great weekend and find a spot for the pines the kiddos bring home…………ilym

  • Barns Barns the more pics you take the more we beg for.  We love them all!  You know me the sunflower one is my favorite.

  • Beautiful collection.  I wonder if anyone has ever seen a barn built.  I’ve never seen one under construction, but have seen thousands of barns.  I think they have just always been there…

  • You can harrass me anytime! :) I like the cow

  • Still loving the barns, sweetie! And I got a picture of a front door on my site, hehe.

    Happy weekend.
    *hugs*

  • I randomly came by your blog via someone else’s… And I’m from Michigan!
Been to Mission point… if you drive by a group of cottages, they’ve named them.
The first one is Mission Impossible and the second one is named Mission
    Accomplished… Just thought I’d share :)

  • Lovey…a barn book is a damn good idea.

(you must have reached a pinnacle…the only other living thing I’ve felt the need to call “lovey” is Ralphie!!!)

  • Gorgeous pictures. I agree with my daughter Saadia. You SHOULD have a Barn Book . Bring all the pictures out of your plog! ( photo blog.)  We want to see more.

  • I love old barns! One of my dreams, if I were rich, would be to convert an old barn into a gorgeious house. It would have lots of natural beams, wood floors and stained glass and a big ol’ stone firplace. Yeah…. not gonna happen! I live in an ugly concrete apartment block, but I can still dream. Your pictures are gorgeous.

  • Me tired of barns? Nah!  I grew up with one of these old barns- now since tore town due to disrepair.  I miss Michgan.  I miss country (with enough trees).  Got married and moved where dh works… small town in Iowa.  I’ve considered taking picture of old corn cribs- they are as interesting as old barns.  Yes, old fashioned barns still being build but usually among certain group of Amish.  It is so very expensive to build one the old fashioned way than modern pole barn style, if you have to HIRE builders anyway.

  • Ahhhh. I don’t get to see pictures like these at all, back home, since I live in the city. I LOVE THE COW! And of course, them flowers. Gorgeous.

  • Great barns, Angi. The one with the Sunflowers is my favorite but they are all excellent.

  • @DanishDoll - Well when you get your “DREAM” If you buy the glass I’ll do your stained glass work for free… I would love to help someone with a piece of  thier dream… lol  esspecially such a cool one!

  • RYC:  Thank you!

  • excellent barnage!

  • Just don’t throw the cows at us, or their pies (tee hee).  No, I love these pictures.  I love poppies, too, and lavender and do I see a picture of cherries?
On our drive to Reading last weekend we saw some barns off the highway, and these was one with graffiti on it.  That was an incongruous image.  Not as pretty a picture as these, most certainly.

  • Lol for Volkswagen!

  • wow I really like your pictures…I am in no way sick of looking at barns…not when you photograph them so beautifully.    I especially like your sunflowers.
