  • Rockin Robin

I saw my first spring robin this morning. He was singing such a pretty song. Seeing them again every spring makes me realize how much I miss them when they aren’t here.

  • I like robins, too.  I’m not so found of the woodpeckers that have pecked a big hole in the back of my house (and are now living in it)!  Ugh!

Hope you have a great weekend, Angi!

  • Okay, now that stupid song is in my head!  ARRGGHH!  But still a great photo!

  • Thanks for the comment!  I like your robin picture–I just started to see some robins in our area this week, too.  I love how plump and happy they look as they hop around.

  • oh, the first sign of spring IS a big thing
shame on me I don’t knw any names of birds or what they look like, except seagulls and pigeons, and I grew up in some pretty deep forests…
beautiful bird in a beautiful photo though!

  • Robins are little things, how many would you need to bake a decent pie?

  • he wont find any worms in that ground.  he better look for some cedar fruit.  (i’m a bird nerd!)

  • We saw a robin today too!!!!!  For real!

  • Beautiful picture. Husband was looking for robins a couple of weeks ago. We have plenty now. Little spring birdies singing wakes me up every morning. (dang birds LOL!)

  • your robin is lovely

  • I saw my first robin last week.  he looked pretty suspicious of my intentions.  I was just walking into the house.

  • Oh gosh I wouldn’t know a robin if it sat on my nose. All the birdies look the same to me…unless they’re a parakeet.

  • when i was a kid, my mom always made such a big deal about the first robin sighting of spring. and i thought she was insane.

now, of course, i always make such a big deal abou the frist robin sighting of spring.

  • I won’t brag too much, but we have had a wide of array of birds here… robins, woodpeckers, finch etc.  and the squirrel food I put out to keep the squirrels away from the bird food, well the birds are eating that… strange.  Oh well… I told Skooter this morning, I suppose as long as they are all eating.  We have sprung almost completely in the south.

    Hugs, Tricia

  • Wow– so pretty!!!  I’m kinda bummed we didn’t get alot of snow this year.
