  • Still Living Off The Weekend…

    Betsie Point 222.jpg

Thought I would share more of my pictures from the weekend.

The kids just waded in clothes and all… That’s the good thing about having a messy car,

there are usually some dry clothes in it somewhere…

She didn’t REALLY get wet until this wave.

At least she kept her clothes on, as soon as Cooper got wet he stripped.

Eventually we were chasing a naked Cooper over the sand trying to force him back into his shorts.

I’ll keep those pictures for the family scrap book…

Here are some of the new additions to my rock garden courtesy of Ben.

Some of the shots from inside…

Can you imagine having a view from every window?

Even the back windows overlook the dunes which have a beauty all their own.

    Up or down?

Okay back to the real world and the laundry pile.

Its cooler out today, almost feels like fall.

    Have a great day everyone!

  • I want to be a lighthouse keeper.

  • what is it about lighthouses? they are so romantic looking -like the flag one -so you get to see this scene everyday? cool beans.

  • I want to be there with you!! I love the window shots!
What is on the table for today? I am taking my 7 yr old m=niece to shoot pix at Daniel Boone Homestead, where he was born, five miles from here.

  • i love all the blues
    i want summer back!

  • I wanna live there! It just looks so clean and calm. Incredibly unlike my house today!

  • That is a beautiful beach.  I am used to southern CA beaches and they aren’t so nice.  I’d even take that lighthouse view over the crowded beaches I visited in HI.  Love the pictures!!

ryc on theologian: I totally did not pay $18 for it.  I’m too cheap to buy a $18 onesie, lol.

  • RYC: “DO YOU HAVE A MACRO LENS?”… lol!!!!!
There is a flower setting on my little crappy camera. and I did use it for the crayola pic, then I cropped it closely.

  • stunning…just stunning.

  • Neat post Ang! Do you have trouble making a post like this? I pull my hair out!

  • You’re going down. An estimated guess from the lighting and angle of the shot.

  • Love the tropical blues in those pictures!!

  • can it be anymore beautiful where you are?  goodness!!!

ryc:  i did manage to sleep a little better….  and he called today, promised to call me more often.  those doggone apron strings are tied with harder knots than i ever knew!  whew!!

  • Wow! Nice views!

  • Thats really nice.

  • Do you live in a light house Ang ?  So you would be able to embrace infinite  horizons !!

    Love

    Michel

  • RYC: We’ve got fields of cotton all over the place down here! I’ll have to snap some and post them. I’ve only seen about 3 lighthouses in person but none are like the ones you’ve got up there.

  • You’re right, I DID love these shots! Not just because they were of lighthouses, but also because they remind me of the days I spent on Michigan lakes as a little girl. Sorry I couldn’t comment earlier; I tried several times, but my stupid computer kept locking up.

  • That looks like one spectacular place to be!  Thanks for taking me along!
