The kite boarder were out in force yesterday.
Taking advantage of the…
ANYWAY…
I am sick of myself so I am linking…
I am so PROUD of HER! She was gyped…
I wasn’t the only one to go to the beach.
This is a list you can’t go wrong with…
Seedsower is feeling a bit colorful…
The Theologian has pointed out that there may be a shortage of males on xanga…
I find that I have more men on my subscribers list then women…
Do you think there is shortage or is it that the women are just more active Xangan participants?
What are your thoughts?

I think there are clearly more women. But who knows.
I have quite a few male subs, so I don’t notice a shortage, but I think more women probably post than men. Love the kites!
I have a good size amount of women as subscribers, me self. And a lot of women going through my photo’s like fiends.
I have noticed that there are more women than men. Most of the women express themselves better than the men do.
Have a great day
Maybe the women just like him?
I wanna do the kiteboard thing…that looks like fun!
I think there are more women.
I think Theologian doesn’t like people truly arguing with him, and males are more likely to fight in US culture, so he surrounds himself with a self-selected audience.
Anyway, great kites and great links.
I don’t think that there is a shortage of men in general, just on Xanga. But think about it: Xanga is a place where people share their thoughts, their feelings, their lives online. Most men aren’t particularly interested in doing that, either online or offline, so it makes sense that Xanga would be more female-dominated than male. The few that are out here do seem to be of reasonably high intelligence (more than average, anyway); and they are comfortable and confident enough to “put themselves out there” with their thoughts, opinions, and (God forbid) feelings. How many men do you know like that in real life? Not nearly as many women who are willing to share…
I think in general that women probably tend to blog more than men, being the more social of the species typically speaking. But maybe that’s me.
Love the last picture of the wave. Makes me want to go to the beach!
I think there is a good mix
I get more men responding to my blog. Great kites!
awesome list ang!
ryc: why? well, it is a fragment of ongoing stories. But undercover people (cops or whoever) never focus on “why” – just “what” – what they are asked to find. So, if you’re buying guns its because someone wants you to figure out the distribution network – you don’t necessarily look to bust the immediate people – sometimes the goal is to see where the money goes back to.
And “deep cover” – the kind described here – it forces people far away from the norms of “cop life.” It is a netherworld.
I have a lot more women, I think maybe only one male sub. But he’s cool so it’s okay.
I have a lot of male subs, but I think that women are more active, you know ….the need to communicate with words!
Thanks for the link Ang!
I think that maybe more women blog because they’re more open to expressing what they’re thinking about and feeling.
RYC: No fears… I don’t take as many pictures as you but my camera goes everywhere with me. Yes. We are def. doing the bridge thingy.
the wave crashing on the beach was the best pic. I don’t have thoughts on anything this early in the week
Women are emotional and so tend to respond better than men, and that is my philosophical thought for the day – LOL!
RYC : ANGI!!!!! Thank you for all your kind words. You have no idea what a difference having you and your specialness in my life makes to me! Have a super day!
I think most males have a hard time expressing feeling and emotions. Therefore, when they blog, they say little or they stick to facts. I know I often do that. If you want to see men talk, try looking at a sports blog
