Well I have received my first piece of mail art back! It would figure it was on a day Ben got the mail. It was still very exciting though.
It is from MotherO’Pearl and it is super cool. I have to keep hiding it from the kids because they all want one and have decided that they should be allowed to make their own. I told them maybe this summer.
It is a very cool little Aquarium/ocean scene. There are three little fishes glued one on each side, so it appears that they are swimming. One fell off in route though but it’s all good because it looks like he is swimming in the seaweed in the center of the plant. She signed one of the shells with her Xanga name and on another there is a verse address.Matt 4:19
And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. Matthew 4:19
When I was little I thought this verse said fishermen… and I wondered why they just didn’t go out with my Pop and Grandpa…
I love it. Thank you Diana!
Also I’m still trying to complete all of the requests for pictures of my life. I want to get my workshop cleaned up before I post pictures of it, that may not happen… the cleaning I mean, I may just post the horrible terrible mess. It will be the last one I do.
Someone wanted to see my thinking place. I have a few, here is one. In the morning I sit here and watch the kids while they wait for the bus then I can sit and eat my breakfast and check Xanga while I enjoy the breeze.
Abandon hope all ye who enter here. A very fitting entrance to our home. This is the mudroom… so the floor is not terribly clean, don’t judge! If I were to show you the other side of the room you would see pegs on the wall filled with coats and a boot tray full of boot and kids shoes. I haven’t gotten around to washing and putting everything away yet. That might be a good thing to do today. No running about to do, the monster is down for his nap, I think it is time to veg. Hope your all having a great day.
Where do you all veg out or just stop and think?
Ang

The creativity never stops around here. Now, if someone would just give me some time to finish MINE!!
Your mail art project is very interesting. You’ll have to share the rules with me…does it have to be something that you can just put a mailing label on & not in a box or envelope? So, if the rest of your home is cleaner than the mudroom, it must be spotless! Seriously! Every place is my thinking place but I think I do my best “thinking” outside. Peace
My house is a certified disaster area… no joke… alright a little joke… but believe me, it isn’t clean. lol Ang
neato!
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to think up something I would never have thought of otherwise! So glad you enjoyed the “aquarium”. If you want to fix the fishy, the bottom is not sealed, just turn it over and pull it off! This really tickles me! I love you for it. Can’t wait to get mine!!!! (Oh, I have no thinking place, I never stop thinking, I’m type A all the way!)
my thinking place is down by the creek bank – I’m gonna post pics of it tommorow (hopefully) I have a gargoyle that I hang at halloween that says Abandon all hope ye who enter here…really I should keep it up all year..haha
I enjoyed that mail art piece. She did a great job.
I wish I were talented. That is so cool. I think my sister would be good with stuff like this.
A stop and veg area? It would have to be my bathroom..It’s the only place I can lock the door and excape..lol
What cool Mail Art!! I’m so impressed!!!
I have wanted a mudroom FOREVER!!! I just love the idea!
::::peeking in::::hellooooooo guess who?
Yup, been the absentee Xanga bud. I have just not been feeling much like Xanga-ing. Go figure huh?
I need a MUD “HOUSE”, those boys of mine track it from end to end! Thinking place?? Hmmm….that would mean I have time alone right? Yeah…I don’t have one , LOL
Your comment made me smile. Thanks for brightening it up a little bit.
Veg out? Usually on a rock by a river. Something about water rolling by just blanks out the brain for a little.
Vegitation happens in the bubble tubby around here.
if its the mud room, why would it need clean floors?
I veg out in bed with the cats in fluffy new sheets and a mag….and yeah a beer
Yeah– that thing is cute. Nice thinkin’ place, too. I just veg anywhere in my apartment. Or sometimes in my car. I am very busy so sometimes just grab a few minutes between life’s scheduled stops in the car. You take ‘em where you can get ‘em, right?!
ryc: definitely not, too much traffic. I’ll just have to go to visit my parents.
My patio…or the beach!
I stop to think at red lights…. much to the annoyance of motorists behind me, I sometimes forget to start again.
My craft room is mine and he kitchen.
coolness, ang! I am having a better afternoon, thanks ) I picked up the wee one from school and we had popsicles. heeee
Very cool mail art. When I need to think I go horseback riding, very relaxing!
I love it !!!! I think that family is so creative!!!!
hi Ang…..thanks for the good luck wish…my daughter is jazzed about finally getting to see me play, for a change……it’s payback for all the recitals we had to endure…i’m just not sure who is being paid back…..them or ulp- us!…. peace …..animal
love the mail art!
ryc: it was a long day after all, but i knew that when i woke up…….i had to start work early
That is a neat piece of work, C loves that sort of stuff.
Looks like it may finally quit raining every day for a little while, might even get to go in circles. Wahoooooo
Hugs
How cool!
As for your question… we’re supposed to stop and think? Oops!
Trish
that is some awesome mail art, so creative!
at the moment my chill spot is on an ugly green leather couch that one of my roommates brought for the apartment.. its hideous and stained and ripping and has duct tape on it- but its all big and cushioned and slippery- so i deal
OH MY GOSH! That mailart is BEAUTIFUL! Aren’t you a lucky girl!
Okay, and a thinking place…..HELLO? Where am I supposed to get the time to think? LOL!
See you Monday, have a super weekend!
Happy Mothers Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Veg out? – In the sanctuary part of our church. I get here really early and spend quiet time there.
Veg out….hmmmm, I will have to get back to you on that….
Mud rooms should have mud in them, right? I think you are OK there…no worries!
Wow, that is some interesting art. Colorful too.
Bet the kiddo’s would LOVE making that. Great plan, letting them do it over summer. That should keep the little hooligans plenty of busy, hehe.
My place to relax and ponder is either under the huge trees in the backyard. I lay there, looking up at the canopy of leaves, the sun, filtering through them. Makes me soooo relaxed.
Or I go to bed and masturbate like a red-ass monkey!
LMAO…
ryc
Great minds do think alike, indeed.
We are just a bunch of naughty, naughty women, huh?
Wicked!
Have a wonderful weekend, sweetie.
Hugs,
L
My room…

Man…I gotta step my game up for your mail art. I’d better put my thinkin’ cap on.
Haha it was a writing exercise.
I want to make a mail art thingy. That looks so fun.
I might put a picture of where I chill in my next post.
