  • More STUFF

Today was another busy day. Sleep consult today to find out why I’m exhausted all of the time but still can’t sleep most of the time. I go in for a sleep study in June. That will be a lot of fun. (dripping sarcasm)

Took the kids to the beach after school, so I have a Bay Watch report…

beach 014.jpg There was a lot of fog because of the temperature difference between the air and water it was fun to watch because the wind kept blowing it around so much sometimes I could barely see the kids.

    beach 041.jpgbeach 048.jpg Yes… nostril jewelry, it’s a zipper pull that doubles as a nostril definition piece…

beach 039.jpg Yes, my feet are freakishly white this time of year… give it a couple of weeks and I’ll be a healthy toasty brown with flip flop lines. I just thought the bubbles were cool…

In other news… now I need to distract you from my feet. I’m in desperate need of a pedicure… Hint, hint MOM… (take me for a pedicure)

Oh yes, in other news I received a VERY cool piece of Mail Art that I will be posting later from one of my fellow Xangans.

mushroom hunting 079.jpg I was hoping to get a better roadside trillium picture for you, just haven’t had a chance yet.

I think that’s it. Nothing else is new with me. The monsters are all doing well, I still have no car… but that is a whole other post. I can’t afford what I want and I don’t want to become a minivan Mom… not that there is anything wrong with that and I should just chalk it up to one more thing I have to cave on because we are just at that stage in our lives, but sometimes a person just gets tired of caving…

    *sigh*

Wishing you all clean water and rainbows. Ang

HA I sound like a total hippy chick.

  • DON’T CAVE! DON’T SETTLE! I wish I had done less caving and settling. More power to you, Ang.

RYC (yesterday’s post): The little booger actually did it with no coercion, can you believe it? He’s a ham. I don’t know where he got it.

  • NOOOO! I agree don’t cave. If only life really were that simple, you gotta do what you gotta do but I know exactly how you feel. The nostril jewelry was a wacky take on that picture and I thought the bubbles were cool too.

  • i likes your beach.

  • Nostril jewelry is cool.

  • Cool bubbles. I caved years ago and have now moved on to the lovely station-wagon-in-disguise, a crossover SUV.

Hmmm….. tired all the time but can’t sleep. Do you have weird aches and pains? Headaches? Muscle spasms? Trouble with your memory? Not to scare you but those are some of the most common symptoms of fibro. I’ll send you a link to a great website if you want to check out more info.

  • read your previous short post, I’m going to snore extra loud now because I’VE GOT THAT DAMN SONG STUCK IN MY HEAD

       Thanks

  • I caved in and got a minivan and I am so glad that I did ,I fought it hard but we got one with all wheel drive that is good in the snow….anyway,we had the spiffiest Audi and now we don’t.But the van is so nice for trips and hauling poeple and things that now I love it!!! I love the fog pic too,it is really a good shot!!!

  • Ooh, I love the fog pic!  Very nice.  It even makes up for your white feet.

    Trish

  • clean water and rainbows right back at ya’.

    the beach looked cold.

  •   The fog pic is really great!  You seem to live in a very nice area for a lot of outdoor exploring and enjoyment!

  • Ang!  Once again, the pics are amazing……………and so are your feet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Ah now I want to go visit the beach too!!!!! Loved the pictures, your feet are as white as mine hehe! Here’s to skin as white as a milk bottle *raises steaming cuppa your way* Have a great day lady

  • That water looked COLD!  lol   I’m so jealous!  I really miss the beach. :(

  • lovely pictures… I love the beach.

  • That last photo is perfect…    and as for buying a car…  just wait another week and something will pop up.  Mini vans are bad… don’t cave..

  • My husband has sleep apnea and had to go through a clinic & do the study, etc.  He ended up with a CPAP machine (we call it his breathing machine) and it has helped a lot.  I bet you’ll have good results too.  We rented a mini-van in Houston and, while it was nice to have all the room, I didn’t like it at all.  It felt VERY top heavy and I just didn’t like the way it handled.  I’m rooting for you to get that Saturn.  Great pictures!  Thanks for sharing them!  Peace

  • Reason # 645467 why I hate Skanklahoma……we don’t have beaches. :(

  • The beach rocks!!  Love the bubbles too!!!  Not being able to sleep really sucks…

  • Great pictures. I came to your site through LilanyB. Have a great day…and yes I got the Annie song in my head too..LOL..peace, Irene
