I know I promised to be done today but I just couldn’t get them all done! Believe it or not I do have a life going on… small though it may be.
I did do part of one request, I will have more to add to this one tomorrow.
Ben is always great at finding tiny treasures. On this trip he found a salamander, it was a little harder to do since it was still cold here. Usually he can find dozens of things to be ooo’d and ahhh’d over. Don’t worry, everything gets put back the way it was when we leave, sometimes it’s even better if we hall trash out.
To me it looks like giant hands reaching into the Earth. There are so many neat things to see. Tomorrow we will be off to another national park… but I’ll tell you about that tomorrow. I will keep filling the request list. I am taking advantage of the time to try and clean up some before I take pictures…shhh…
SO everyone commented on my fridge being organized, but no one said anything about the penguin living in the freezer… maybe it’s more common then I thought…

I think we have the same fridge, doors just mounted on the opposite side
How freaky is that?
I look at those trees, and it reminds me of the Wizard of Oz… or some movie where the trees talk. I dunno.
i LOVE BEECH TREES. And, where in Michigan do they let trees get to be sawlog size? Very pleasant.
Your photo intrigued me, as an avie, it looked like 1910′s pornography–which I collect.
What is the penguins name? I also have a penguin in my fridge, his name is Kool. He is a teether for the little one, Winnie keeps him company until they get to visit her.
You know… last weekend my son (he is 3yrs. old) found a worm…. he put it in a balloon, and gave the balloon to me to be blown up… YUCK! I didn’t find out about the worm until after I had tied the knot on the darn thing… EEEWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!

Hehe thank you.
And what beautiful nature shots!
Very cool pics.
RYC:Oh yeah. It’s my department’s tradition to take us all to see Spidy.
Beautiful pictures, thanks for sharing. Loved the tree roots and well done to you for teaching your kids to respect nature and all it’s treasures. Looks like you all had a great time. Enjoy your weekend lady
ryc: Just 1 would do, around 6 ft 3 or 4. Dark hair, piercing eyes. Huge shoulders, rippling with muscle tapering off to a narrow waist below, above a nice tight butt and thick, chunky, strong looking legs. Ahhhhh a gal can dream eh?
Morning Ang
neat pics! thanks for sharing with us!!!
Seven Bridges looks like a beautiful place to go and relax. Thanks for the pics
That does look beautiful.
Are you speaking of Rapid City, South Dakota?
There is a big age span between our oldest and youngest. – 22 years. I’m sure if we had another opportunity to adopt another infant we probally would.
Very lovely pictures!! The kids are so cute. hehe..
I love cool trees; and that is one COOL tree. Fun stuff.
That is a pretty awesome place to go walk… almost makes me want to go for a walk…, but not yet.
Hugs, Tricia
Cool! Love the trees. I think I may have been there before. Well not to that exact spot, you know.
Very cool.
“Don’t eat that salamander!!!!”
I say that whenever a Cub Scouts finds a critter. They think it’s funny.
You can tell where my head is – that last pic of the tree looks like an awesome place to hide a cache
Wow, you’ve got a LOT of footprints.
My weekend’s alright. Today I had some Turkish food that was awesome.
RYC: Thanks – I didn’t know there was another Rapid City. So interesting.
The penguin is not common it’s just that a fridge that organized is even more uncommon!!!
The penquin would hit the George Foreman grill here today, we are pretty much out of everything but dog food.
I wouldn’t really call it spulunking, more like tourist trapping. eh it was an outing
That is beautiful! I love exploring places with the kids and showing them the neat stuff that we find. It looks like you guys had a great time out there!
RYC: Even so you don’t bite the hand that feeds you! She should know that by now! That little terd.
Wow! They DO look like giant hands! You have such a great eye for those things! You really do live in a wonderful area.
Thank you Ang the wood is amazing and I understand all the family like walking in .
Some roots of the trees are spectacular !!! I wonder how old they are .
Love
Michel
