Oh, I love the picture ! Und, of course, know very well that feeling too ! Warning : ruminating makes depressive.I learned it by reading a book titled Women Who Think Too Much: How to Break Free of Overthinking and Reclaim Your Life by Susan Nolen-Hoeksema (in german : Warum Frauen zu viel Denken – Wege aus der Grübelfalle) Don’t laugh it’s very serious ! LOL (but I really did it).
ryc: thank you very very much for coming on my site and explaining me the things I don’t understand. It makes me feel warm and fuzzy too and hug you very strong.
I looked at a picture of Frankfurt on the pier on the Web and I am extremly impresses how long it is! Wow ! I realize how these lakes must be big. But I don’t see yet the mitten… I must really good concentrate me, I think…
OK I have it : you have to look the shape of the land around the lakes not the shape of the lakes ! All clear ! Thanks very much for all the new things you learn me Angie !
did you try going to seven eleven?
I do that. I think so much that I can’t sleep sometimes. But, I’ve found that forcing myself to think and really concentrate on something I find relaxing helps somewhat. Easier said than done some days, though. More often than not, though, I’m so freakin’ tired at the end of my day that I can’t wait to close my eyes! It’s the 6:45 a.m., “oh crap, time to start another day” thing that gets me moving.
totally man!!! thats why I go to the gym, so by the time I’m ready to hit the sack… boom!! am out !!! give it a go!
I think we all must feel that way at times. I certainly do.
Oh yeah, I used to spend most nights awake. I finally talked to my doctor about it. I suppose I am missing some creative surge when I am sleeping, but I like sleeping. Hope you have a nice rested weekend. Hugs, Tricia
Oh yea – I’ve wished that. RYC: LOL
I’d be afraid to see what fell out if I opened up my head. Have you tried writing down the things you’re thinking about? Some people say it works.
Yep…I know the feeling.
I feel that way and then I cut all my hair off!
oh so much all the time, day, night!
Only to people that won’t use it against me. But ….thinking more…I don’t think there would be much in there. LOL!

Ummm Always
I call that the movies in my mind. Yes, it happens to me… that’s why I say crazed insomniac in my header. Take care or maybe take pills.
I feel that way fairly often lately! Sometimes things come out that I’d LIKE to remember, what’s a person to do? Peace
I have been dealing with a clogged brain the last 6 weeks and it has impaired my ability to sleep soundly through the night so I geel your pain! I hope things are going better. Writing about what is on your mind can sometimes help get the thoughts out of your brain long enough to catch a good rest…but not always. Good luck. btw…I love the pictures of the seagulls and their reflections.
Hi, my name is Karla, and I’m a thinkaholic.
I know that feeling, too! Sometimes a drop of lavender on my pillow and a dose of Bach’s White Chestnut (that’s a flower remedy, not a piece of music, lol!) will help. Mostly, though, if I stop trying to sleep and begin to think of things on purpose, I’ll drift off to sleep.
Susan Nolen-Hoeksema’s book sounds interesting. Been meaning to brush up on my German, anyway!
Hi Ang…Came to look at your pretty pics again. Enjoy your start of the week
Cool picture!! I feel like that too sometimes. I just want to trn my brain off.
