Such is life…
Well here are some pictures. Ben took them all and I’m not sure he knew how to quite use my camera. The first two are at the scene of the crime, the third is at the junk yard my car now calls home until they rip her apart and sell her bits and pieces. The last one is from the inside looking out of the windshield. I just thought it was cool looking.
The tow guy said that he had five more calls in the same spot that day, one of which was a four car pileup involving a police car.
All right moving on to brighter subjects. In the hospital, I was in the newly constructed emergency room area. It was very impressive, but what was the most fun was the art work. One of my favorite local artist’s has done several things that are in the hospital. His name is Glenn Wolfe and I have been seeing bits and pieces of his art since I was very young. I can’t find anything more on him to show you but at the hospital they have a beautiful new work, it huge, probably 4ftx6ft. And they wheel you under it as you enter the wing. I was addled and I still said WOW… Ben took a picture of it for me but it isn’t a great picture and I’m not sure even if it was you would get the full effect of how BIG and BRIGHT it is. I still wanted to put it up.
What do you think? Hope every one is well. Thanks for all of the well wishes. The Noggin is still tender and I’m pretty sure my brain is a little rattled, but everything here is good. Ang

I think you have someone looking out for you…all of you. That is a nice piece of art. Ben did a good job, hush! Our brain is taking a lot of abuse these days, but it must be a “Timex” though…takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
Jesus! Those picture are frightening to look at and imagine you and your family in that car. I’m glad you feel ok, albeit rattle, which is to be expected. hugs and kisses… feel better soon.
The artwork is cool but something tells me it is amazing seeing it its actual size. Please take of yourself.
The important thing is that you’re all OK. Cars can be replaced, people can’t.

OMG! I go away for a couple of days….and there’s all kinds of excitement!! I rolled my old SUV on black ice 5 years ago…I didn’t get to experience the hanging upside down feeling because my tumble knocked me out cold. When I woke up I was in the hospital. I’m very glad that you and the family are safe and sound now.
Sorry to learn you had an accident Ang . But you are all safe including your parents I suppose . But what a shock ! And now you have to get a new car .
It ‘ s paradoxal you have had to go in the ER to find again an art work from one of your prefered painter . Some solace ?

My stomach did a little flip flop looking at the pictures and I just thank God again that you’re all alright. Normally I’m not thrilled by nature scenes…but Mr. Wolfe seems fictional and realistic at the same time…pretty neat.
