  • Still sick. Still in bed.

    Thinking about some of my favorite movies. Here’s a list in no particular order.

    1. Stranger Then Fiction (Yup it now makes my list schmaltzy ending and all.)
    2. Pillow Talk
    3. Hamlet the Mel Gibson version
    4. Shindler’s List
    5. It’s a Wonderful Life (I still cry, every time)
    6. Second Hand Lions
    7. Some Like It Hot
    8. Young Frankenstein (Actually almost any Mel Brooks film High Anxiety, History of the World Part 2, Blazing Saddles, etc
    9. Casablanca (but only on the big screen.)
    10. 50 First Dates

    Well that’s some of them. What would you guys add to the list?

  • Mel Gibson did a good Hamlet, but he cut out an awfully lot of the play. I’m not sure whether that was good or bad.

  • Wow! Most of mine involve cheesy humor, lots of tits and ass, and a plethora of explosions; sometimes a moral, and thats if I get lucky. I like all the movies that you chose though, and the rest of your commentors movies as well.

  • I hope your feeling better really soon!  I had cold sores on my upper lip last week, I was miserable…they are almost cleared up…Thank God! Enjoy your movies…I love a good movie!
